Originally from Memphis, TN, Suzannah Herbert is a documentary filmmaker. Her NYU Tisch thesis, Home Game, premiered at DOC NYC. Herbert was the Associate Producer on Shola Lynch’s Free Angela & All Political Prisoners, and has since worked as an Assistant Editor on Michael Moore’s Oscar-shortlisted Where To Invade Next and Fahrenheit 11/9, and on Martin Scorsese’s film, Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story. Herbert made her feature directorial debut with Wrestle, which won 11 awards on the festival circuit. In 2019 Wrestle was distributed theatrically by Oscilloscope and broadcast nationally on PBS’s series, Independent Lens.

Lauren Belfer is a filmmaker and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is the co-director, producer, and writer of WRESTLE, an intimate feature documentary following four Alabama teenagers attempting to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles through one historic wrestling season. A New York Times Critic’s Pick hailed as “superb” by the LA Times and “vital” by The Hollywood Reporter, WRESTLE was released theatrically by Oscilloscope Laboratories and closed out the 2019 spring season of Independent Lens on PBS.

For more than six years, Lauren was the line and field producer on ROLLING THUNDER REVUE: A BOB DYLAN STORY BY MARTIN SCORSESE, a Netflix Original released summer 2019. She also produced the narrative film AFTER LOUIE (Frameline 2017), starring Alan Cumming, and works frequently Michael Moore, beginning with his Oscar-shortlisted WHERE TO INVADE NEXT through to his most recent film, FAHRENHEIT 11/9. She also directs docu-based TV for networks including MTV and TLC.
